Black Bean Quinoa Burger



1/4 cup quino
1 cup water
2 cups refried beans (find recipe here)
1 Tbsp ground flax seed
3 Tbsp water
3/4 cup Italian bread crumbs
1/2 tsp. salt
olive oil for cooking

Place quino and water into a saucepan. Bring to a boil then simmer for 15-20 minutes. Place flax seeds inside a small dish with the water. Let sit for a few minutes until it has thickened. Stir all the ingredients together. Form into patties. Place into a warmed pan with olive oil. Cook for 2 to 3 minutes on each side.
