Cornbread
1/3 cup sugar
1 cup yellow cornmeal
1 cup whole wheat flour
4 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1/2 cup applesauce
1 Tbsp. ground flax seed
1 cup oatmilk
Mix sugar, cornmeal, flour, baking powder, and salt in a mixing bowl. Combine flax seed and milk in a small bowl. Let sit for a few minutes to let the flax seeds gel. Add applesauce to the milk mixture, then add to the dry ingredients. Stir well. Place into a greased pie pan and cook at 425 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes, or until toothpick placed in center comes out clean.
